Facebook is planning to release new versions of portal video Chatting devices in the late months of this year. In the Code Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, Andrew Bosworth announced this to media during an interview.

He said “We have a lot more than we’re going to unveil later in this fall, new form factors that we’re going to be shipping.”

He did not provided much information about the portal’s launch and also did not disclosed, how many portals have been sold after its launch in United States.

Facebook has decided to launch it, when moderations are taking place to make the privacy of the users more strong than before. Due to privacy concern, users are leaving the usage of Facebook service which is lowering down the profits.

The launch fits aptly into the situation when privacy over the messaging apps is the main concern for the users.

Out of all services of Facebook, only WhatsApp is the one which uses encryption for messaging and secures the privacy of the users.

In March, CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg said that in few years, direct messaging will dwarf discussion on the open platform of Facbook News feed. Here public posts would be able to go viral across the world.

In an interview, Bosworth said that the devices would be only for the calls and would not be able to record things.
