Microsoft Office 365 apps are now available in Mac App Store

Microsoft has recently announced that the Microsoft office suite 365 will now be available in the Mac app store. Now, with this change Mac users would be able to download the Microsoft 365 apps such as word, excel, outlook, powerpoint, etc in the Mac devices directly from the Mac stores. The facility is available for the first time. Earlier, users were not able to use the Microsoft apps on the Mac device as it wasn’t available in the store. However, the iOS store already has the Microsoft apps listed in the store and thus was available for iPhones.

Mac Users would also be able to purchase the subscription of the desired app within the app. As per the press statement, Apple says that the Microsoft suite has been specially designed to support the new MacOS Mojave. It would also support the continuity camera and the dark mode. The Microsoft office 365 suite is also said to support the MacBook pro touch bar and Mac’s Trackpad.

As per the Apple, The businesses would be able to use these office apps as well. These apps can be distributed to the employees by IT managers using the official Apple business manager. The senior vice president of worldwide marketing in a press statement said “We are excited to welcome Microsoft Office 365 to the all new Mac App Store in macOS Mojave. Apple and Microsoft have worked together to bring great Office productivity to Mac users from the very beginning. Now, with Office 365 on the Mac App Store, it’s easier than ever to get the latest and best version of Office 365 for Mac, iPad and iPhone”
