Xiaomi’s Mi Notebook Air has been released into the market and fans are here for it. Xiaomi already has a powerful presence in the smartphone market and it’s hoping to increase its influence in the PC space. The 12.5 inch Mi Notebook Air which is powered by Intel core i5 SoC, is available for pre- orders on Xiaomi Mi’s official website and on JD.com, which is a Chi was e-commerce platform.
As of yet, the laptop is available in only one colour variant of silver for pre sale in China. It has a 4 GB RAM, 256 GB of storage and a 4G connectivity and is priced at around Rs 40,500 (3,999 CNY in China). Both JD.com and Mi.com offers users the advantage of booking their Mi Notebook Air if they are willing to pay CNY 100, on the spot. The Notebook Air’s looks have drawn in comparison with Mi’s laptop powered by Intel Core M3 Processor, which was released in 2016.
Mi’s Notebook Air has a 170 degrees wide viewing angle with HD display and a contrast ratio of 600:1 and a widescreen ratio of 16:9. It has Intel HD Graphics integrated graphics card of 615 that runs on an operating system of Windows 10 Home Edition. It also comes with a web camera of 1 mega pixel that can support video calls in 720 p resolution. It supports a USB C port, USB 3.0 port, HDMI and space for 3.5 mm earphone jack. It is not known, however, if Notebook Air is available outside f the Chinese market.
