Microsoft Bans April Fool Pranks. Read here to know why

April is just going to arrive and we all know why it is famous for. The very first day of April is known as April fool day where fooling people is fun. However, Microsoft doesn’t feel the same.

Recently, Microsoft which is a big famous company has banned the April fool’s day in their office and also has warned their employees from taking part in playing any of the prank or hoax on each other.

Microsoft’s major marketing head Chris Capossela has given the warning to all their employees and has said,

“Considering the headwinds the tech industry is facing today, I’m asking all teams at Microsoft to not do any public-facing April Fools’ Day stunts,”

They have made the memo for their employees. In the memo, it is written that since April fool’s day leaves a bad impact in public, it is not a good sign for the company.  She also said-

“I appreciate that people may have devoted time and resources to these activities, but I believe we have more to lose than gain by attempting to be funny on this one day,” the memo.

However, in the year 2016 which is back 3 years, Google added the April fool’s day feature where Gmail which had led users to send minions memes and also muted the important conversations due to which, the company Google had to apologize later.
