Microsoft Launched Android Mobile Notification Syncing Feature for Windows 10 Insiders

Microsoft has launched an new feature for the Windows 10 Insiders. It has rolled out a feature with phone to PC notification with per application configuration facilities. This is specifically for Windows 10 Insiders on the Preview Build 18885. The name of this new app is “Your Phone” which allows users to manage their android phone’s notification on their PC.

As per the Analy Otero Diaz, Senior Program Manager of Microsoft, The App “Your Phone” will allow users to choose the apps individually for which they want to sync notification to their PC.

As per Microsoft’s Director of Program Management and Mobile eXperiences Vishnu Nath, The company is going to add a lot more features to this application. He also said that it is a staged roll out and company will be soon releasing new features to it like surface screen mirroring and cold replying to the notifications.

As mentioned in the support page of “Your Phone app”, one would require Windows 10 Insider running on  build 1803 (RS 4) or above. Als the android smartphone they are using should have minimum 1 GB RAM and should run on Android 7.0 Nougat or later versions.

The first time Company showcased this app was in year 2018 at its Build Developer Conference. It released the first feature of the app in July 2018 with the release of Preview Build 17728. The features was to make the users able to transfer and access pictures from android smartphone.
