MIUI 10 v10.2.2.0 Released For The Xiaomi Pocofone F1

Xiaomi releases the MIUI 10 latest update for the Xiaomi Pocofone F1 and brings the super slow-mo support which can record video at 960 frames per second. The update started hitting the Pocofones late December. The update also includes the security patch update for the Pocofone. The update comes with a build number 10.2.2.0.PEJMIXM and the size of the file to be updated is of 311 MB. The roll-out was announced by the official global head of the Pocofone on his Twitter account.

In the tweet he also mentioned that the update will be rolling out in batches and every Pocofone user will get it some day. The tweet of the official head of the Pocofone was “ Good news all! Dev team has started rolling out the January stable build which has the latest security patch and a bunch of fixes. Slightly later than we thought but it’s here! Everyone should get it in the next few days.”

The Xiaomi gave a notice that the update will include super slow-motion video recording and enhanced low light photography mode. Prior to the update, the device was only able to record slow motion videos at only 120 fps and 240 fps. The new low light photography mode feature works by taking eight images at different exposures and then merges them to result
in a best photograph.

The Poco F1 users can check for the update manually by going into the settings panel and clicking on the “About phone” tab and there is another option of System updates. Click on the updates and download and install the latest update. If there is an update the Xiaomi generally gives a notification.
